New Years Eve Net - 9M2RKK and MARTS 2m Nat Link

Another year has come and gone (oops...err , more like about to go!), great thins has happened for some. Tying the knot, Getting their Ham license, Being parents, Getting their Ham license, getting their new GPS (Hi Hi), Getting their Ham license. . . .
The thing is that good things happens to some, not so good things to others! The really really good thing is that we still have volunteers to occasionally remind us that we are Amateur Radio operators.
(OBTW, syabas to those who lead by example during the recent flood crisis, and those who did know who they are)
One such occasion will be the up and coming (fast) New Years Eve net, to be conducted (and of course, initiated by 9M2DS- Pak Dollah), one of our very senior members, in terms of experience, that is, Pak Dol will kick off the net on 9M2RKK, beginning 2300 hrs New Years Eve.
SO if you are on do tune in, and we have been told that it will also probably be simultaneously run on MARTS 2m Nat Link...

So lets catch up there...de Martsnews.Blogspot.com

HAM RADIO USERS GETS WIDER COVERAGE

PENANG Nov 1, 2006 - Ham radio users now have wider coverage along the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia with the setting up of a free amateur radio network link.
The link spanning Johor Baru to Kangar is jointly established by the Malaysian Amateur Radio Transmitters' Society (MARTS) and Motorola Technology Sdn Bhd.
MARTS vice-president Abdul Rashid Mohd Sultan said the Motorola-MARTS Amateur Radio Network system was designed to provide nationwide infrastructure for inter-state radio communications.
"The system will benefit about 2,000 licensed amateur radio users in the peninsula."
"It is also the first nationwide amateur radio system in South East Asia," he said at the launch of the link by State Local Government Committee chairman Dato' Dr Teng Hock Nan at Cititel Penang here yesterday.
Abdul Rashid said Motorola spent RM350,000 to provide the system's radio communications equipment and accessories including the system design.
Previously, he said members could only talk with others from within their local area.
"We installed five repeaters on Telekom Malaysia's hill-station buildings on Penang Hill, Cameron Highlands, Genting Highlands, Gunung Ledang, and Gunung Pulai for the new link," he said.
(A repeater is a device that amplifies a signal before transmitting it again).
Motorola Malaysia country president Asri Hassan said the radio system would also provide communication up to southern Thailand, Singapore, and Sumatra's east coast area.
It would also be accessible to amateur radio members on ships in the Straits of Malacca and the South China Sea, he said.
"This nationwide radio system is very critical during emergencies and disasters," he added.
During the tsunami tragedy, Kuala Lumpur was used as the central ham radio station to bridge communication between Acheh and Medan, he said.
"During the tsunami, the ham radio users in Acheh and Medan could only communicate with Kuala Lumpur and not each other."
"So, our members in Kuala Lumpur acted as the middle party to relay messages between the two," he said.
Abdul Rashid said during the Highland Towers tragedy in 1993, MARTS led a team to provide communication support to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

THE SAGA OF DUTY EXEMPTION ON AMATEUR EQUIPMENT..the last word

The factual account has provided the genesis, or the raison d'être. It is time that this is now filed away into the archives of MARTS if any.

It is time that I slip back into my tranquil obscurity and get on with my work. The last thing I wanted was to be pitched into a controversial situation. This fracas was not one of my doing nor started by me. Anyway I hope the factual account should put this matter to rest once for all.

My grandfather once told me that there are two kinds of people: those who work and those who take the credit. He told me to try to be in the first group, there was less competition. Probably the second type who usurps the credit takes the short cut and is, of course less trouble. Unfortunately the fame is short lived.
Thanks to the Blogmaster for providing me the space and opportunity to say my piece.

Absent were Angkasawan Finalist Vanajah Siva, & Mohd Faiz Kamaluddin (Both candidates passed the RAE but were not at the presentation ceremony)

Yup! They did, all six candidates who participated in the RAE Special Sitting for the Angkasawan Candidates and Angkasa Officials got through their RAE without any hitches. Seeing that RAE was not actually rocket science (Pun intended!), we wish godspeed to all involved in seeing this Angkasa Initiated project through.
At the present moment, both Angkasawan Elect, Dr Sheikh & Dr Faiz are already in Moscow, probably getting used to potatoes & vodka! OK, not the vodka part...but definately getting used to Mockba diet! Hopefully we will also get their callsign soon, so boleh panggil panggil mah . . .

So, if you hear of a new callsign, most likely, it could be either of the four! Cheers...

CQ Jamboree On The Air 21 October 2006

CQ CQ CQ, the call for volunteers is out again! This time, the World JOTA, will commence on 21 October 2006 0001 LT. In view of the up coming DeepaRaya, there will be a need to coordinate
volunteers more closely to at least have some 'voice' from Klang Valley.
Before we announce the setting up of station for Klang Valley, and invite the troops of KL/Sel,
we first need to identify if we have sufficient stations.
(The Persatuan Pengakap Malaysia - will be loaning their equipment for this use if manpower suffices)
1. In view of Deepavali on 21st October 2006, there may be some people who will take a long trip from KL. (Please place your callsign and time available if you intend to help)
2. The station will be on air throughout the weekend and will stop transmission 2359LT 22 October 2006.
This call will close on 18 October 2006 at 1200 hrs.

Problems with National Link

QSP from 9W2PCK - Choy from Segamat. He has noted that the National Link from Gg.Ledang to Ulu Kali is not carrying his audio, as opposed to previous transmissions achieving a Readability 4 ! However, he is able to copy the transmissions of stations in Central to Northern.

So take note, if you are trying to access from down south, you may experience difficulties.
The problem has also been reported by Choy to 9W2EY - Edward.

Keep on contributing to the benefit of all in the HAM community.

THE SAGA OF DUTY EXEMPTION ON AMATEUR EQUIPMENT

By Sangat Singh, 9M2SS

This is the story of the duty exemption on amateur equipment, and how it was obtained in response to a thread started on the MARTS Blog on 16th September, 2006 onwards.

There were 3 attempts made to obtain the duty exemption. The first one was initiated soon after the MARTS AGM of 1984. The following were the principal officials:

President Colin Richards, 9M2CR
Vice President D. D. Devan, 9M2DD
Hon. Secy. Sangat Singh, 9M2SS

It was decided to explore the possibility of duty exemption on Amateur equipment. During that period we had a good example of Amateur Radio Society of India having just obtained duty exemption vide Gazette of India Notification dated 9th March, 1984. This was the background that gave us the incentive. I was charged with the duty to set the ball rolling.

The first letter dated 9th March, 1984 was written by the President, Colin Richards, 9M2CR and addressed to the Hon. Minister of Finance, Tan Sri Razaleigh Hamzah. This letter was neither acknowledged nor replied. We sent a reminder on 9th May, 1984 even that was ignored. From then on, I took upon myself to pursue this matter vigorously.

On 1st October, 1984 I sent another letter to the Finance Minister, enclosing all previous correspondence for ease of reference. This time we received an acknowledgement on 5th November, 1984 that the matter would receive attention.

On 30th November, 1984 we received a letter from Customs Headquarter granting an interview, and asked me to present them with the Customs Tariff Codes for items that we wished duty to be waived. I met Director Ramlah Binti Ibrahim and spent the whole morning explaining what we needed. I submitted a few pages of Schedule of Amateur Radio equipments to be admitted duty-free to holders of valid amateur radio licence holders. Unfortunately this surfeit of information was beyond her. She kept on asking for the Customs Tariff Code, even to the extent of asking the name of Manufacturer, Model, and serial number. I did not make much headway as it was not just one piece that we needed to import. On a subsequent visit I asked D. D. Devan, 9M2DD to accompany me in case he was able to drill some sense. We were required to file in a fresh memorandum and included whatever further information was needed.

On 22nd February, 1985 I enlisted the help of Enc. Zakari Che Noo, Director of JTM, to provide a recommendation. This was not acknowledged nor replied. On 12th March. 1985 I got Enc. Zakaria Che Noor to send a reminder to Puan Ramlah. Again there was no response.

On 12th June, 1985 I sent another letter once again enclosing copies of all old correspondence in case they could not trace the file.

On 9th July, 1985 we received a reply by one Enc. Mohd. Amen Bin Cutoff that gave a glimmer of hope, and again asked for the Tariff Codes. This I provided .

On 1st August, 1985 we received Tariff Code and duty thereon. I was shocked as that quoted just the normal duty ranging from 30 – 50 percent + 10 percent on most items.

Only on ICOM IC 751, 745, 730 she quoted inadvertently a duty of 5% + 10%. This was actually a slip.

On 8th August, 1985 I wrote a letter to D. D. Devan, 9M2DD who was then the President of MARTS, quote.

“I am enclosing the missive from Customs. You can see what a mess they have made. I tried to speak to Ramlah but she refused to talk. Clearly this work was beyond her capacity…..”

On 13th January, 1986 we received a letter from Customs that “…dukacita dimaklumkan bahawa permohonan tersebut tidak dapat diluluskan” Thus the first attempt failed.

We did not give up and started the second assault. This was the second attempt. This time I enlisted the help of Y. B Datuk Amar Stephen Yong, Minister of Sains Dan Alma Skitter as I knew him personally and he had visited us when I was the Manager of Ampar Tenang Estate, Dengkil. I got a recommendation letter from him. Added to this I had fresh recommendations from the Director of JTM. Once again we started on the merry go round. Light at the end of tunnel was still not visible.

At this point I enlisted the help of H. L. Cham, 9M2YB. This was on 20th June, 1989. By this time Lee Fook Seng, 9M2LF had become the President of MARTS. According to Cham our application could not be found at the Ministry of Finance. Following his contacts he felt that we stood a good chance. So I started once again to present our case. To quote Cham “The informal reactions I have got to date appear to be encouraging and I will be more than happy to follow through once you have prepared the proposed new letter”. This was our second attempt. I resubmitted our application to the Ministry of Finance.

But this time, something sinister was being hatched. The very people who now claim credit were the ones who were responsible for the failure of the second attempt. It will be opening a can of worms if I were to write about that painful episode. Suffice to say that in 1990 I had relinquished my post as a Secretary of MARTS. Zainal, 9M2ZA became the secretary. I gave him a few pages of handing over report and in it I had specifically mentioned among other things that our application for Duty exemption was in the final stage and required an urgent follow up. No action was taken at all. Thus failed the second attempt.

That was the most chaotic period in the history of MARTS. Zainal, 9M2ZA lasted less then 3 months as the Secretary. Then Yusoff, 9M2FF was roped in but due to his personal problems he too did not last. At last Thiam 9M2CJ was pressed in and again some years later he too was unconstitutionally asked to resign. In a shameful manner, while MARTS talked pontifically about the constitution as being sacred, had a council member who was not even a member of MARTS.

We now come to the 3rd round.

This was I think during the 1996 MARTS AGM at UKM Bangi that the question of duty exemption once again raised its head. It was I think, Ken, 9M2KN who proposed my name and the whole membership raised their hands and vociferously seconded my name. I was tired from previous two attempts and had regressed peacefully as an ordinary member. I was most reluctant to undertake once again the cudgels to combat the authorities. But they wouldn’t listen. I took up the challenge once again. At that time Rashid, 9M2RS became the President and Thaim, 9M2CJ was the Hon. Secretary. I was appointed the Chairman and asked to nominate my own committee. My reply was that the committee should consist of only 2 members of which one should be absent. But I don’t think the staid amanuensis minuted that witticism. At the end it was decided that I would be a one man committee to tackle this question.

Once again, I started that lone and arduous journey and enlisted help of people who mattered. I have their letters of support on my file and am grateful for their generous help. In the meantime, I had made a good contact with the Director of Customs who was sympathetic. I don’t want to list the umpteen letters and meetings I had with them. Then came the day we were waiting for. On 24th October, 1996 I saw the Director concerned and he gave me a privileged packet with a red slip posted on it that read:

EMBARGO
Tidak Boleh Disiarkan Sebelum JAM 1600 Hari Jumaat, 25th Ocotber, 1996.

Rest is the history. I never talked or told anybody, nor made any claims. There was not a single cent claimed for anything from MARTS. I just felt pleased that the job was done. My last duty was to write letters of thanks and to the press to thank YB Minister of Finance. These letters did appear in the press.

It was only after this announcement, I felt that the Director of Customs must be thanked. The two appropriate persons were the President Rashid, 9M2RS and Thiam 9M2CJ to thank him for his help. This was the only occasion they ever went to the Customs Headquarters. I am sure they cannot even remember the name of that friendly Director.

This was the sum total of their help. I am not sure who were the others who helped. They should be identified and suitably honoured with a place in the Hall of Fame.

In the following AGM there was just one liner minuted to say thank you Sangat.

Sangat Singh, 9M2SS

9M2RUK - Ulu Kali (Local Repeater - 147.900mhz)

9M2RUK - Ulu Kali Repeater transmitting at 147.900mhz, with the usual offset and tone is now back live on line. A team headed by 9W2ZN - Zakran summitted Ulu Kali on Thursday, 21st September 2006, and provided the long needed manpower to put the repeater back on air.
For the record, the antenna cables was the primary problem, with water seepage, due to weather exposure, and these cables were donated (Benefactor - not known).
However, it will be useful to note that 9M2RUK does have serious 'spill over' problems from a commerial taxi repeater, so if you get the feedback, upon the release of your PTT, don't be too alarmed. Another thing to note is that 9M2RUK, situated on the Ulu Kali summit, right next to Genting Highlands, will provide you with good receiving signals, but please reconsider triggering with 5w from handy, as you may not get the same results. However, do try, and feel free to comment here on your signal and readability report, with power output, as well as set up/area of transmission.
This will be very useful for us to provide to the next team going up to do maintenance works.

Kepp on Dx'ing.

QSP...Messages Text or otherwise . .

Excerpt from NST Daily, 8 Sept 2006
________________________________________________________
When text messages can backfire
08 Sep 2006
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
KUALA LUMPUR: It may be hip and a sign of the times, but the growing trend of circulating text messages on kidnap and abduction cases is making matters hard for police.

Different types of crime require different approaches. What may work in a case of car theft or snatch theft may not work when there’s been a kidnapping.

In advising the public to stop this practice, Federal CID director Datuk Fauzi Saari told the New Straits Times yesterday that kidnappers would have warned the victim’s family not to go to the police. "There is the danger that the widely circulated text messages may reach the kidnappers’ mobile phones. This would endanger the victim.

"Also, the element of secrecy is required as police have their own plans and action to set into motion," he said.

"If a crime is committed, then lodge a report in person. There are procedures police have to follow before investigation papers can be opened.

"Sending text messages does not constitute lodging a police report. We do not know if it is a hoax or genuine call for help. Even those who forward the messages don’t know if it is a hoax or not."

Fauzi said at the very least, police would need a "first information report", which detailed the crime, its nature, where it happened and who was involved, so that they had something to work on.

"But what is happening now is that the text message is being circulated far and wide before it reaches the police. We will not act on it as it is difficult to determine its authenticity."

As an example, Fauzi cited a case which created a stir on Aug 28: A girl who was abducted by five men at the parking lot of the Ipoh Shopping Parade.

Her boyfriend sent text messages to friends, urging them to contact police if they spotted their vehicle. The messages took on a life of their own, reaching the Klang Valley.

"By then, the original message was distorted to such an extent that no one knew where the girl was abducted from. Some received a text saying the incident had occurred at Subang Parade!"

Selangor police sent a team to Subang Parade. By then, the girl was safe and the vehicle found. Two days later, the messages were still in circulation.

Fauzi advised victims to send the text message to Rakan Cop, which would be constituted as a report.

Also, enlisting the help of friends by chain text messaging can be applied when it is a case of snatch or car thefts.
_____________________________________________________________

Some of us in the HAM community may have received this message and feeling the need to help, may have circulated this to other stations, via sms as well as through the local 2M network.
So perhaps, it is wise to take a step back and evaluate using this simple steps;
1.verify statement from the person who received it (make sure that it is first hand info, not QSP from QSP from QSP)
2.As a responsible person passing on information, you are responsible for the facts
(If some of you may recall, a simple message sent some time ago lead to some serious twisting of facts, as in the case with this sms)
3.If it involves element of crime, do take the steps as advised by the authorities (refer above article)
4.Messages sent through Amateur Radio waves should follow the guidelines set by the governing authorities (refer MCMC guidelines as to do's and don'ts)

In summary, we all mean well, but do not get yourself prosecuted for sending wrong news!

NATIONAL LINK Repeater back online . . update on 9M2RUK too

To all stations that appreciate concise news, here is the latest on the National Link repeater of MARTS on Ulu Kali.
Previously transmitting on 146.925 Mhz, the Repeater was emitting serious QRM on a commercial repeater belonging to MTD, the Highway Concessionaire operating the Central-East-West Highway, resulting in our National QSO's being copied through their commercial network. Which resulted in it being decommissioned, until today!
As previously explained (or if you so wish, refer to MCMC Bandplan) the 146.000-148.000 Mhz is allocated to Amateur Radio in Malaysia on a 'secondary basis'. In other words, on a need to basis! So lets keep flooding the airwaves to fully utilise our bandwith!

Our repeater team (9M2CL-Bob Chee, 9W2EY-Edward Yeoh, 9W2TE-Charlie and others, which we may not know of) summitted Ulu Kali today - 6 Sept 2006, at midday, and readjusted the necesarry, resulting in better RX and DX'ings ! Syabas to them, and as you are reading this, are on their way to Malacca, and subsequently to Gunung Pulai to do the needful for the improvement of the National Link Network.

On another note, 9M2RUK, is now awaiting final adjustments, as well as reinstallation of the repeater and antenna, thanks to the efforts, of 9M2CJ-Thiam (for coordinating), 9W2AA-Jit, for his help in duplexer tuning, 9W2ZN-Zakran and his team (Rosli/Khairul/Roslan) for ascending and reinstalling the duplexer (but for the rain and lightning, 9M2RUK would have been live already!).

So if you are keen to use the National Link again, please do so at 147.125 mhz . . .with the usual Tone & Shift! See you on the link....

We would like to thank all stations, swl(s) & ham enthusiast alike for making this event the biggest turn up , by far at Ali Baba, and most of all, an event to be remembered.

Pak Dollah kicked off the workshop at 9.30pm by welcoming all stations and started off the session with a brief history of HAM in Malaysia andgladly handed out copies of additional information for stations who wanted more reading material.

He also touched on the topic of QSO cards and brought some samples to be passed around for a closer view. New stations were showed some 'old' 2m hand helds, compared to those handies available nowadays. Pak Dollah recalled his encounters (to the detail!) operating with other stations and spoke about them passionately! He further provided a short briefing on SOP and common practices (on the airwaves)

3 groups were then created with new ham operators taking turns to dx - under the watchful eyes of other seasoned stations.

All good things must come to an end, they say, so this session concluded at 12 midnight.
Some others stayed on till 4.30am, at least that was on record!

There are plans to have another SOP session for those who might have missed the opportunity. So do drop us a line or two if you would like to attend, otherwise come catch the main crowd, normally on Fridays, sometime after 9pm...meantime, happy QSO'ing!

call for volunteers. . . 3rd Asia Pacific Air Internet Jamboree

The Asia Pacific Region of WOSM (World Scouts Movement) is pleased to announce the hosting of the 3rd Asia Pacific Air-Internet Jamboree by the Scout Association of Japan. Having had successful Jamborees both in 2004 & 2005, The Air Internet Jamboree this year will take place between 0001 hrs (5th August 2006) to 2359 hrs (6th August 2006). Participants are encouraged to take part anytime within this period to access the many other Amateur Stations operating with Scout movements throughout the Asia Pacific Region. (More information can be obtained from http://www.scout.or.jp/ (click on Air Internet Jamoree logo) Better still , if you want a summarised information on this event, and particularly so for Malaysia, simply place your email, and contact at the comment section of this posting, and we will forward you the files in Adobe.pdf format. In conjunction with Amateur Clubs in Malaysia, we hope to do our part in making this an unforgetful event for the scouts movement in this country. (The invitation by Persatuan Pengakap Malaysia has also been forwarded to other Amateur clubs, such as MARTS, MARES, ASTRA, NESRAC, JASRA, and PERAMAH, and is coordinated by the Krew Kelana Komunikasi (Persatuan Pengakap Malaysia). So be on the lookout for the 9M2PPM call and help our scouts on to the airwaves. This blogspot is appealing to Amateur Radio Enthusiast with some time to spare during this weekend, to help, setup, man, and assist these scouts to venture into the unlimited world of Amateur Radio, as well as internet! Echolink is also part of this borderless communication. Without volunteers, this project will not be able to run as smooth as it should. The primary objective, is to encourage scouts, to first identify these Amateur Stations, and subsequently make contact with other scouts on certain frequencies. So lets take the first step and place your call sign and handle with your relevant contact details, and take it from there. . . . We look forward to seeing more and more stations stepping up to the plate.. . . . . . . .73s de moderator This msg is summarised from the circular of invitation by Persatuan Pengakap Malaysia, QSP from 9M2CJ and 9W2ZN

Sebatik Island on the Amateur Radio Map

Twelve members of the Borneo Amateur Radio Club travelled to Pulau Sebatik (Sebatik Island) on Friday (14th July 2006) for a four day Amateur Radio DXpedition (from the 14th to 17th July 2006). The DXpedition was mounted following The Radio Society of Great Britain's (RSGB) – Island on the Air (RGSB -IOTA) Committee’s recent announcement that Sebatik Island, which has a split Sovereignty (9M6 Malaysia, YB7 Indonesia) would count as a new IOTA group (OC-295). By this addition, Sebatik has been classed separately from Sabah’s other offshore islands, and uniquely , it now shares sovereignty with Indonesia.

Amateur Radio Stations are licensed to use short-wave frequencies that can travel all around the world, as well as VHF band, which allows Sabah’s radio enthusiasts to talk to each other via the club’s repeater station atop Mount Kinabalu. Amateur Radio is a technical hobby governed by the ITU (International Telecommunication Union) , an agency of the United Nations which function as an intergovernmental organization established to standardize and regulate international radio and telecommunications through which public and private organizations develop telecommunications.

The Sebatik Island DXpedition used the call sign 9M4SEB, a special call sign which was issued by the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission especially for the DXpedition. “We certainly hope to make several thousand contacts with amateur Radio Stations in Asia, Europe and America, and really put Sebatik and Sabah on the Map” said 9M6DXX (ex G4JVG) Steve Telenius Lowe, 51 who until August 2005, was the Editor for the RGSB Magazine in UK . The other Briton in the group is 9M6XRO (ex G3OOK) John Plenderleith, 62 while the rest were from Kota Kinabalu and Tawau.

BARC President and expedition leader 9M6TW James Gaditis thanked the Sabah Tourism Board, The Radio Expedition Foundation, ( IREF Inc. -USA) and other contributors and club members for the financial support given for the DXpedition. He said that the DXpedition members would also be conducting community projects, and radio workshop for the Sebatik Islanders.
9M4SEB was active from approximately 1100 UTC on the 14th July until 0300UTC on 17 July 2006. Activities recorded were on thr 10 – 80 meters Band, CW and
SSB using up to three stations simultaneously. IOTA and DXCC hunters from all over the globe were pointing their beam antennas towards Sebatik!

Close quarter ‘‘Eye balls’ Gala Event

It has been a while since we gathered together for the noble aim of absolutely nothing except for the intention of fostering relationships and allowing many the opportunity of putting a face to the voice and callsign.

Thus, we would like to extend this invitation to all ham related individuals… including those unfortunates who happen to be married to one or dating one. The aim here is to foster better understanding among fellow ham’mers and catalyze activities…. rather than wait for something to happen. History should already tell you that all things come to he who waits….. except they didn’t tell you that almost all things happen to you. This is your chance to make sure all things happen FOR you.

OK… we have no idea where we are going to hold this event. Obviously we would like some suggestions. Ideas, no matter how wild, are always welcome.

For a start , the first thing on the menu is ‘sirup ais’. The rest is up to you. This event is no-holds barred. You can bring rigs and gear for sale, run barter events, have major arguments and debates, or just buy a buddy a drink.

Pls blog your ideas and we hope to see you all ..

Farewell our dear friend - 9W2ACE

The family of our late 'Frankie' would like to extend their sincere thanks to all those Ham members who were directly or indirectly involved in lending their helping hand in their time of loss. This will certainly be remembered by all.

A group of Ham members mostly close friends of 'Frankie', will be leaving for Sg. Pertak this Sunday morning, 11th June 2006 and to those who would like to hop along, kindly accept this invitation to join the outing, Yes! They are on a mission.

The primary mission will be that of his family, who will release his ashes at Sg. Pertak and as Frankie's final resting place. He is known to be an outgoing, and happy go lucky kinda guy who loved the outdoors and adventure, so much so, that his family has decided to release his ashes at the very location when he first experienced his 4x4 trip.

We have officially stopped collecting funds for 9W2ACE, but we would be glad to forward your contribution to his family members.

Kindly contact 9W2XL - Bear or 9W2CBO - Chris for the details. Information will be announced over 9M2 RKK from time to time, so stay tuned.

(latest news is 9-9.15am RV Point at Sungai Buloh Overhead rest area before convoy leaves for Sg Pertak)

Once again, from the family of 9W2ACE - Thank you.
