Wi-Fi - hangout?

Official hangout place?

Any takers for free ‘Wi-fi’ usage ? Just plonk yourself there and order your regular ‘tea-tarik’ to go with while you surf the web.
Thanks to 9w2xyz whom convince En. Mubarak that we, Ham members, car enthusiast ( Gti, K2OC) and other IT buffs is a worth while investment..

The owner claim that Wi-Fi services would be made available in 1-2 weeks, so keep a lookout , hopefully by the 17th May 2005

Guys and all IT buffs,
Mr. Mubarak confirm that TM did indeed visit his place and should have the telephone line in a week. We will then have to put in the AP for all to use ..
We should be able to go 'wireless' sometime 3 week of May 2005.

Hope to see you there - soon !!!.

Hi guys,

Just a reminder. This is a privelage, not a right. So lets not abuse it. No need to go into details here.

Secondly, this is a public area. How we behave in public will tell loads about the Ham spirit.

Thirdly, if you appreciate the quarter shoplot that has been assigned to us and the various other facilities, please reinforce this message to the owner, Mubarak.

And lastly,
if we dont get our streamyx line in fast enough, sound this to him too. This is low priority to him in his everyday business. His stock level of condensed milk is more important to him. So...remind him and lets get our hangout area fully equipped.

NOW... who wants to donate a 6m and 10m rig for this location?

Ok.. update. The 40 Thieves venue (Ali Baba) has just been expanded. All hams (with valid callsigns) are encouraged to leave your grafiti on the ham corner and sign your call. Lets claim the area. The office at the rear is ours to use. An air conditioner is coming in. There are a couple of office desks and a few leather sofas in there.

Can anyone donate carpets?

Thanks..
